if so(where): Hosting my own servers on Call of Duty games, Red Faction, San Andreas Multiplayer, previous admin on DG Black Ops servers until clan closed down, current admin on 8BG servers on Black Ops
if so(how long): I have been admin on 8BG servers and DG servers for around 3 years. And as for my own servers, at least 4 months.
ULX experience?: No, but I can only assume it has similar commands to other admin tools and would be quick to get the hang of.
Why do you think you should be moderator?: I play a fair bit of DarkRP and would be a common player on the server.
Have you been banned/kicked on Casual Gaming RP before?: No
Questions & Answers
A person is threatening to crash the server, what do you do?: Note their steam ID, IP address, date & time and then talk with them (I.E ask them why, and as it is difficult to tell if they are serious or not, assume they are and try to talk them out of it). If they turn out to be joking around, a kick for wasting admin time. Afterwards if they aren't joking around, permanently ban them. If they do crash the server and you can prove it was them, report their IP as well as a date and time to the AFP as it is a cyber crime and they can be tracked down.
A person just called you and said someone RDM'd him but he/she has no proof that they did, what do you do?: Investigate myself - check the logs, ask the victim, supposed RDMer, and any witnesses for their stories (separately). Sort through the information I have gathered and if I can prove the RDMer is guilty, or they confess, progress from there (depending on severity and their kick/ban history).
A person is prop-climbing into someones property, what do you do?: Teleport them to a rooftop, delete all their props, tell them that prop climbing is against the rules. Then punish them based on the circumstances and their history.
A person is mass RDA'ing and/or mass RDM'ing, what do you do?: Teleport them to a rooftop. Tell them what they are doing is against the rules and issue punishment depending on severity and their history.
Dark RP Knowledge (Answer Briefly): I have been playing DarkRP for quite some time so have a fairly solid understanding of how to play.
What is RDM and give an example of it: Random Deathmatch - When one player attacks or kills another player for no roleplay related reason.
What is NLR and give an example of it: New Life Rule - Upon death, unless it was due to a glitch or your own prop - you must not return to that location for at least 5 minutes and must 'forget' everything from your previous life (I.E: you have to forget who killed you and play as if they have done nothing wrong to you).
What is MetaGaming and give an example of it: Using 'non-ingame-roleplay' material such as the scoreboard information ingame. As a Civil Protection, seeing that another player is a Drug Dealer and without witnessing anything and only because of their job name, tracking down their base and raiding or arresting them.
What is SelfSupply and give an example of it: Becoming a Gun Dealer. Buying yourself a shipment of guns, then immediately changing jobs to a Thief or other job and using those guns for yourself.
Agreement
By submitting this application you understand all of the servers rules and what is to be expected of you. You also understand that if you do get accepted and you are caught abusing you will be banned and moderator status will be taken off of you. You also agree that no matter the situation you will sort it out and not just leave in a rage. You will not permaban someone just because they are harrassing you. You also agree to not swear at players and treat them unfarily. You also agree that asking mods+ to comment on your application or telling players to look at it will put it in risk of a lock and deny. You also acknowledge that the agreement can change at random and you will still have to agree with it.
